Long’an County of Nanning is located in the southwest-central Guangxi, the both sides of the downstream of Youjiang River, and the northwest of Nanning City. It is adjacent to Wuming District and Xixiangtang District in the east, Jiangzhou District and Fusui County of Chongzuo City in the south, Daxing County and Tiandeng County in the west, and Pingguo County in the north. It covers an area of 2,277 square kilometers, with Nanning - Kunming Railway, Nanning - Baise Secondary Road, Nanning - Baise Expressway and Youjiang Channel passing through its region. The main tourist attractions include the Longhu Mountain Nature Reserve, Lushui River Rafting, Eshan Ecological Tourism Area, Bangshan Culture Pagoda, Buquan River Scenic Area, and Yanjiang Ancient Town. The main mineral resources are gold, silver, coal and crystal stone. Specifically, the amount of silver ore deposits of Fenghuangshan ranks the third in China and the first in Guangxi. The main products include Chinese chestnut, litchi, longan, banana, Dingdang chicken and so on. Long’an County is known as the "Home of Chinese Chestnut".
