Recently, the Second China (Guangxi) Human Resources Summit was held in Nanning. At the summit, the “Catalog of Talents Urgently Needed by Key Industries of Guangxi in 2019” (hereinafter referred to as the “Catalog”) was issued, which has identified 16 industries and 214 urgently needed positions. The “Catalog” issued simultaneously on Guangxi human resources website has important reference significance to the planning formulation and policy research of introducing urgently needed talents into Guangxi.
It is understood that among the 214 urgently needed positions, the demand for professional and technical talents is the most urgent, accounting for 82.71%; management and skilled talents are less needed, accounting for 13.08% and 4.21% respectively. As for the age distribution, most of them are 31-40 years old, accounting for 40.65%; while 22-30 years old talents account for 36.92%. In terms of education background demand, bachelor’s degree demand is the largest, accounting for 68.69%, followed by master’s degree, accounting for 17.76%, college degree, accounting for 9.35%, and doctor's degree, accounting for 4.21%. In terms of the professional demand for talents in urgent need, six majors which are computer science and technology, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, bioengineering, materials and chemistry, environmental science and engineering, vehicle engineering, etc. are in the greatest demand, especially those talents involved with big data, intelligence, advanced technology and other fields.
